Privacy Policy
This policy covers the booking form on this site. It is written in plain language on purpose: if something here is unclear, that is a fault worth telling us about.
What we collect
When you book an appointment we ask for your name, your phone number, your email address, and anything you choose to type into the notes. We ask for these so the shop can hold the chair, confirm the time with you, and reach you if something changes.
We do not ask for payment details on this site. Nothing is taken in the chair through this form.
How long we keep it
Booking records, including your name, phone number and email address, are deleted 90 days after your appointment.
The 90-day period is counted from the end of the appointment itself, not from the day you booked. That includes an appointment that was cancelled or missed, which still has a scheduled end.
Who else sees it
Your booking is stored in a database run for the shop by Supabase, and this site is hosted by Netlify. Both hold your details only to provide those services to the shop, and neither is allowed to use them for anything of its own. Woody, and anyone working the desk, can see your booking in the shop's own booking screen, including your phone number, email address and notes. The shop does not currently send confirmation messages, so your phone number and email address are not passed to any messaging service; they are there so Woody can reach you about this appointment. Nobody else receives them. We do not sell anything about you and we do not use your details for advertising.
What you can ask for
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted before the 90 days are up. Ask and it is done; you do not have to give a reason.
How to reach us about it
Write to richard@ezwebdev.io, or call the shop on (818) 415-4257.
A note on our name
This site trades as Woody Richards. The business behind it is the entity Woody Richard's Barber Shop. Both names are correct and both are used deliberately: the shorter one is the barber, the longer one is the shop. Neither is a typo for the other.
Recorded 2026-09-06 as ruling W38, on the client's own decision: the two names stand as they are and are not harmonised.
